Sneak preview: Qik for the iPhone 3GS video reveals an exciting video recording accessory Yesterday, a video surfaced that is demonstrating the latest version of Qik for the iPhone, and by the latest I mean the AdHoc version and not a jailbroken version. That video, which is 6 minutes and 23 seconds long begins by showing off the AdHoc version of Qik. It begins by going over some of the features which include the ability to mute audio, turn off chat, set the video to private, edit the video details (while streaming) as well as how you can share your video on sites such as Facebook, Twitter and YouTube. Additionally, it was also noted that Qik has a ...

Qik is one of those must have apps for us jailbroken iPhone users. To my surprise, Qik has not been approved for the appstore because of AT&T’s bandwidth issues.. These bandwidth issues have not stopped slingplayer and such apps that more than likely use more bandwidth than Qik does. I myself am a qik user and want this approved in the appstore so if you feel the same way sign the twitter petition which is showed in the video below:

The iPhone User Guide —
Would you like to be able to stream video from your iPhone?
Well currently Apple and AT&T have banned this feature, due to what they call ‘bandwidth issues’…
We would all love to be able to stream video from the iPhone directly over 3G to our friends and family, basically in an iChat or Skype video sort of manner. AT&T have kicked up a fuss and basically Apple have banned this feature from upcoming app Qik to keep AT&T happy.
Watch the video above to see video streaming working on the iPhone 3GS, and then make up your mind…
If you would ...

OWLE: A Mount That Turns Your iPhone 3GS Into A Mobile Video Workhorse
CrunchGear —
We’ve made no secret of our admiration of the iPhone 3GS’s video capabilities — Apple has managed to integrate a video camera that’s both easy to use and surprisingly high quality into an already-stellar device. But for all its merits, the iPhone 3GS suffers from being, well, a phone. No matter how good the phone’s video quality is, it’s still prone to shakiness as its director moves around. And while the microphone may be high quality, its position at the bottom of the phone definitely isn’t ideal recording whatever you’re poiting the camera lense at.
Fortunately, an answer is on the way for all ...
Qik coming to iPhone..maybe for reals this time
9 to 5 Mac - Apple Intelligence —
If you've been with us awhile, you know we're pretty huge fans of Qik. Qik is simply a video broadcasting app for mobile devices. It has been running on jailbroken iPhones for over a year. Qik has been submitting like crazy to the App Store only to be turned away time after time. Digg founder, Kevin Rose stated it would be accepted last year but unfortunately it got turned down.
Now that the iPhone has a video API as well as some more CPU power under the hood, Qik is going to try to submit again.

iPhone J.D. —
In my review of the iPhone 3GS yesterday, I noted that one of the features I really like is the ability to record video. I just ran across a website called The Automatic Filmmaker which is published by Steve Ellington, an independent film director from the U.S. who currently lives in Switzerland and who knows a thing or two about video. He ...
