I found this tip so ridiculously exciting that I actually taped my iPhone up this afternoon and tried it out myself. I received the instructions via TheJdevinci439’s and ...
Brush Your iPhone's Bezel to Hide Scuffs and Scratches [IPhone]
Lifehacker —
[image] If the shiny metal bezel around your iPhone has seen better days, and that nags at your perfectionist instincts, a quick protective taping and smooth back-and-forth with a rough-sided sponge can give it a more consistent, brushed look. As detailed by a YouTube user and tested by the Just Another iPhone blog, brushing your iPhone's shiny bezel gives the phone a different look, along with helping to hide fingerprints, scratches, and chips acquired during rough travel. The key is taking long, smooth strokes with the coarse side of a sponge (they're usually yellow with green scrubbing surfaces), and being sure to protectively tape the edges of the ...

It's the simplest cosmetic surgery you'll ever do.While I don't know how my ...

Hide iPhone bezel scratches with a brushed-metal look
Macworld —
Posted on by Jeff Porten , Macworld.com If the chrome bezel surrounding the screen of your iPhone has gotten scratched thanks to the daily use and abuse of your favorite gadget, Just Another iPhone Blog checks in with a fix : use the green abrasive scrubbing pad of a standard two-surface sponge to smooth out the scratches. Lifehacker links to a YouTube video to show you exactly how it’s done. Just be sure not to skip step one: covering the front and back sides with masking tape to make sure that the scrubbing surface doesn’t come in contact with currently unscratched portions of your display or the case backing. I’ll add ...
