We've seen apps that try to build on the functionality of the already great maps application but we usually find ourselves resorting to just trying to find something in the default app. Aroundme is another location app that wants to make finding local places a bit easier for you. With the update that allows for the embedding of maps inside the app, Aroundme has made life a little easier by providing quick access to near locations. Now, the large argument about apps like this is that they don't really have anything that the default maps app can't do. I agree completely. But ...
