The iPhone Pencil Stand can be made from 4 or 5 pencils (depending on which iPhone you have) and takes just a minute to put together. To build it you need to wrap elastic bands around points to make a tripod and then add 1 or 2 pencils to make a horizontal support to hold the whole thing together.

Take two pencils with one rubber band at either end to make the horizontal phone support. Then make a triangle using two more pencils. Add the final pencil as the back support. You can adjust stability and support given by tightening the top rubber band.
One caveat: If you have a slippery desk, try making the stand with pencils that have erasers, putting the eraser end on the desk for added support.

Fatgadget from Geeky Gadgets had a problem, and as all good Geeks do… he solved it.
While working on his PC, he wanted to watch some video but just could not get his iPhone properly propped. Looking around his desk in MacGyver mode, he found 5 pencils and some elastic bands which were crafted into a simple but effective iPhone prop-per we think is brilliant so we dubbed the “iPencil”.

Taking inspiration from the well know iPhone Bulldog clip stand but not having any bulldog clips to hand. I fashioned together a landscape iPhone stand using 5 pencils and elastic bands.
