The iPhone 3GS is said to load apps around 2.9 times faster than the old iPhone. Features include OpenGL ES 2.0, 7.2 Mbps HSDPA support, 3 MP camera with autofocus and 30fps VGA video recording. Theres also Voice activation features, a new digital compass app and improved battery life.

The 16GB version of the iPhone 3GS will cost $199 when launched with the price going up to $299 for the 32GB iPhone 3GS. The launch day for the new iPhone 3GS will be 19th June in the US, UK, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Switzerland and Spain with 80 other countries shortly following by August.
If for any reason you want to buy a new iPhone 3G (not the 3GS) then the 16GB model will now cost $99.
