PayPal Blames Outage on Hardware Failure
AppScout — A service interruption that took down PayPal on Monday for almost five hours was due to a hardware failure, the company said today. "At around 10:30 am PT Monday, a network hardware failure resulted in a service interruption for all PayPal users worldwide," Scott Guilfoyle, senior vice president of technology at PayPal, wrote in a blog post.
