Apple (NSDQ: AAPL) started reporting limited iPhone shortages on Friday in 29 of its 257 stores across the country, according to IFOAppleStore, a website that closely watches Apple’s retail business (via Fortune).
Shortages are only reported on Apple’s website in times of scarcity. The site, which was last seen in the summer of 2008, shows exactly which versions of the phones are sold out where.
